Again India examination system fails with the leak of CBSE class 10th Maths and Class 12th Economics CBSE Paper leak. These days India’s most reputed organization, Central Board of Secondary Education is facing criticism.
It is not the first time CBSE Paper leaked. It had happened many a time in past. It is now very common practice in India of a paper getting leaked, Exam Conducting body denies, Government tries to curb the protest against these kinds of misconducts.
Let’s see what happened to CBSE Class 10th Maths & CBSE class 12th Economics Paper leak.
On 23rd March 2018 CBSE Received a complaint that a coaching institute in Delhi is involved in the CBSE paper leak.
CBSE forwarded the complaint to the Reginal office of CBSE same day.
CBSE Reginal office forwarded the complaint to the Delhi Police.
On 26th March 2018 CBSE Received the 4 sheets in an envelope of handwritten answers of CBSE Papers. It was indicated in the envelope that the paper of Class 10th and 12th are leaked and circulated on WhatsApp.
CBSE has decided to conduct the re-exam for both papers. Dates for the same will be announced soon.
It is also reported that the Prime minister Shri Narendra Modi contacted the education minister Shir Prakash Javdekar and conveyed his unhappiness towards the CBSE Paper leak issue.
A similar event had happened earlier this month when CBSE Accounts paper was reportedly leaked on Facebook. Shri Manish Sisodia, The Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister of Delhi Tweeted the same.
A Special Investigation Team comprising Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime), 2 Deputy Commissioner, 4 Assistant Commissioner and 5 inspectors has been set up to investigate the matter.
The students also protested at Jantar Manter regarding the paper leak. They are demanding the Re-exam for all the paper or none. Some students are not happy about the re-exam stating that in some region there was no paper leak then why re-exam burden on students.
