Goa CET (Common Entrance Test) 2018 will be conducted to get admission in the Bachelor’s Degree in the fields of Architecture, Dentistry, Engineering, Medicine (Allopathy, Homoeopathy, Ayurveda), Pharmacy, Allied Health Sciences and Nursing. There are two types of entrance examinations first is State level like Goa CET, EAMCET etc and second is National Level such as JEE Main, AIIMS etc. Goa CET Falls under state level exam category. Students willing to get admissions in the above said courses can apply for the Goa CET (GCET) 2018 Exam. Goa CET 2018 Eligibility For Various Courses

MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS & AHS

  1. Applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (Std. XII) examination of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English
  2. Applicant should have secured not less than 50% marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together. (40% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only and 45% for applicants belonging to PH category for MBBS and BDS Course

B.Sc. in Nursing

  1. Applicants should have passed HSSC (qualifying exam) in subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
  2. Applicant should have obtained minimum 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General Category, (40% aggregate marks in subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology for candidates belonging to SC,ST and OBC category).

Bachelor of Engineering

  1. The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std.XIIth)  examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science /Biology.
  2. Applicant should have secured not less than 45% marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics & Mathematics with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology. (40% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only).

Bachelor of Pharmacy

  1. The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std.XIIth) examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Mathematics/Bio-Technology/Computer Science /Biology.
  2. Applicant should have secured not less than 45% marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics & Chemistry with one of the following subjects Mathematics/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology. (40% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only).

Bachelor of Architecture

The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std.XIIth) examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects and secured at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% aggregate marks for applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC).


OR

10+3 Diploma (any stream) passed/appearing recognized by Central/State Govts with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics.

OR

International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.

  • Type of Question: The question paper will contain objective type questions/ multiple choice questions.
  • Pattern: The question paper will be asked in OMR pattern.
  • No. of Question & Duration: Each paper will consist of 75 questions to be answered in two hours.
  • Marking Scheme: One mark will be given for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: There is not negative marking for wrong answers or multiple answers.
