UTET Eligibility Criteria

Paper 1: The applicants who have scored a minimum of 50 per cent marks in the Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) exams are eligible to appear for UTET 2019 paper 1. They must also have a two years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.Ed/ BTC). Paper 2: The candidate must have completed his/her graduation (or an equivalent) and cleared it or he/she must be appearing in the final year of the Bachelor degree in Education. UTET Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2019

Candidates can appear in Paper 1 or Paper 2 or both. Both the exams will be conducted on the same day in different shifts.
  • The exam will be of Objective Type.
  • There will be four choices.
  • Each question will be of 1 mark.
  • There will be no negative marking.
  • There will be 150 questions in the paper and each question will be compulsory.
  • Paper will be in Hindi and English language.
  • Duration of the exam will be 2 hours 30 mins.

UTET Qualifying Marks 2019

The UTET cut off marks is the minimum qualifying marks, which should score by the candidates in the examination. This is the minimum required marks which are required to be eligible for UTET Further Procedure. Here is the complete cut off via category wise:

UTET qualifying marks for General Category

All the General Category candidates need to score 60% marks in the exam in order to qualify it. Anything less than 60% is not accepted from general category candidates.

UTET qualifying marks for OBC Category

All the OBC Category candidates need to score 50% marks in the exam in order to qualify it. Anything less than 50% is not accepted.

UTET qualifying marks for PWD Category

All the PWD Category candidates need to score 50% marks in the exam in order to qualify it. Anything less than 50% is not accepted.

UTET qualifying marks for SC Category

All the SC Category candidates need to score 40% marks in the exam in order to qualify it. Anything less than 40% is not accepted.
