West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE) is one of the largest exams in terms of the number of candidates appeared in this test. This exam has various papers for Engineering, Medical, LAW, MBA, B Pharmacy, M Pharmacy etc. In this post, we have provided the details about the WBJEE Pharmacy Eligibility criteria for all the institutes comes under WBJEE in terms of minimum Qualifying marks and minimum and maximum age to get admission in Pharmacy colleges under WBJEE.

Pharmacy Eligibility Criteria In Jadavpur University

Minimum Qualifying Marks & Subjects

  1. Candidates must pass Higher Secondary Pass ‘10+2’ or equivalent Examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects
  2. At least 60% ( 45% for Reserve Category Students ) marks in all the above three subjects taken together
  3. Individual pass marks ( both in theory & practical where ever applicable ) in each of the subjects
  4.  At least 30 % marks in English.

Age Criteria for WBJEE Pharmacy Course

  1. The lower age limit is 17 (seventeen) years as on 31.12.2018.
  2. There is no upper age limit in appearing in the WBJEE-2018.
  3. A candidate born on or after 01.01.2001 is not eligible to appear in the WBJEE-2018.

In Other Institutes

Minimum Qualifying Marks & Subjects

  1. Candidate must have passed the Qualifying Examination i.e. the ‘10+2’ examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the three subjects as stated above in regular Class mode.
  2. Must have obtained at least 50% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to WBJEE-2017 Information Bulletin Page: 12 / 62 reserved category) in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English taken together. The Board of the said Qualifying Examination must be recognized by the Central Government or State Government concerned.
