Raiganj Polytechnic
Raiganj Polytechnic is situated in the Uttar Dinajpur district of West Bengal and the college offers three 3-years Diploma course in the field of Automobile Engineering, Civil engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The college promotes the concept of continuous and hands-on learning. It aims to prepare students to identify their strengths and interests in the field of engineering and thereby build a prospectus career. The faculties are highly qualified and experienced to guide the students in their field. The college has an over-all friendly environment.
Although established in 1986, the college has developed infrastructure that has helped students in training and getting accepted in eminent government and private institutes for higher studies. One of the unique events of the college is the Education Festival. The college has a provision for other necessary facilities in sports and extra curricular activities so that students can have an overall development.

Raiganj Polytechnic Admission Procedure
Admission in the First Year: Students are allotted for admission through JEXPO counselling.
Lateral Entry Admissions: Students can take admission in the second year through lateral entry by qualifying VOCLET.
Raiganj Polytechnic Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for students taking admission in the First year:
- Students must have a valid rank in JEXPO.
- Students must pass with at least 35% marks in Madhyamik or Equivalent Exam with English, Physical Science, Science and Maths as compulsory subjects.
Eligibility for students taking admission in the Second year:
- Students must qualify VOCLET.
- Students must pass (10+2) with Science or have Vocational/ 2 years' ITI degree.
