DU B. P. Ed. 2020 Application Fee

Candidates applying for the postgraduate course at the University of Delhi have to pay the registration fee. This DU Entrance Application Fee will be non-refundable.

Application fee amount is different for the different category students. So candidates have to pay the Delhi University application fee according to their category.

1. The registration fee for SC/ST/PwD: Rs. 250/- for each course
2. The registration fee for all other categories such as General / OBC: Rs. 500/- for each course

Eligibility Crtieria

Eligibility criteria for the Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) course at Delhi University are given below. A candidate applying for this course must have any of the following degrees.

1. Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% marks and having at least participation in Inter College/Inter-zonal/District/ School competition in sports & Games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India. OR
2. Bachelor’s degree in physical education with 45% marks. OR
3. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 45% marks and studied physical education as
   a compulsory elective subject. OR
4. Bachelor degree with 45% marks and having participated in National/Inter University/ State Competition or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in Inter college/Inter Zonal/District/ School competition in sports games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/ Govt. of India. OR
5. Bachelor's degree with participation in international competition or secured 1st, 2nd
   or 3rd position in National/Inter University competition in sports and game as recognized by respective federations /AIU/IOA/SGFI/ Govt. of India. OR
6. Graduation with 45% marks and at least 3 years of teaching experience (for a deputed in-service candidate) i.e. trained physical education teachers/coaches). 

DU B. P. Ed. 2020 Selection Process

Selection for the Delhi University Bachelor of Physical Education course is through three stages. A merit list of the selected candidates will be prepared on the basis of the performance in all three stages.

• Written Test for 60 Marks
• Physical Fitness Test: 20 Marks
• Sports Proficiency test: 20 Marks

Other Important Details about DU B. P. Ed. Selection

1. The number of students to be called for appearing in the Physical Fitness Test will be on the basis of written Test. The number of such candidates to be called for the test will be equivalent to five times of the number of sanctioned seats/intake in each category (Gen, OBC, SC, ST & CWAP).
2. All the students appearing in Physical Fitness Test must appear in Sports proficiency Award Component for B.P.Ed. for consideration in the final list of result declaration.
3. The interview component is deleted and it is mandatory for a candidate to appear in all other components (Written Test, Physical Fitness Test, and Sports Proficiency Award).

Exam Pattern
