Solution

Let the length and breadth of the rectangle be $4x$ and $3x$

=> Area of rectangle = $4x \times 3x = 1728$

=> $x^2 = \frac{1728}{12} = 144$

=> $x = \sqrt{144} = 12$

$\therefore$ Perimeter of rectangle = $2 (4x + 3x)$

= $14x = 14 \times 12$

= $168$ metre

Solution

Let the length and breadth of the rectangle be $4x$ and $3x$

=> $x = \sqrt{144} = 12$

$\therefore$ Perimeter of rectangle = $2 (4x + 3x)$

= $14x = 14 \times 12$

= $168$ metre
