Solution
Let the original fraction = $\frac{x}{y}$
$\therefore \frac{x \times 225}{y \times 220} = \frac{9}{11}$
=> $\frac{x \times 45}{y \times 44} = \frac{9}{11}$
=> $\frac{x}{y} = \frac{9}{11} \times \frac{44}{45}$
=> $\frac{x}{y} = \frac{4}{5}$

Let the original fraction = $\frac{x}{y}$
$\therefore \frac{x \times 225}{y \times 220} = \frac{9}{11}$
=> $\frac{x \times 45}{y \times 44} = \frac{9}{11}$
=> $\frac{x}{y} = \frac{9}{11} \times \frac{44}{45}$
=> $\frac{x}{y} = \frac{4}{5}$
