Let the original fraction = $\frac{x}{y}$

$\therefore \frac{x \times 300}{y \times 250} = \frac{9}{10}$

=> $\frac{x \times 6}{y \times 5} = \frac{9}{10}$

=> $\frac{x}{y} = \frac{9}{10} \times \frac{5}{6}$

=> $\frac{x}{y} = \frac{3}{4}$
