Solution

Let x and y be the two numbers.
x+y = 27
x*y = 182
x + (182/x) = 27
x^2 - 27x + 182 = 0
x^2 - 14x - 13x +182 = 0
(x-13)(x-14) = 0
x = 13 or x = 14
y = 14 or y = 13
13 and 14 are the numbers.
