The correct answer is option 4.

Option 1 uses a present continuous tense but the word ‘$is’ $is missing in the sentence which makes this option incorrect.

Option 2 uses the word ‘spills’ which is third person simple present tense which is inapplicable here.

Option 3 uses the word ‘spill’ which is incorrect usage in the given sentence because it has been indicated that the action has already been completed.

Thus, the sentence needs no improvement.
