Los Angeles will host the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games in 2028. Paris on the other hand will host the 2024 Olympics. The agreement was announced on July 31st, 2017 that Los Angeles agreed to take the 2028 games but with incentives. Los Angeles will officially withdraw from the 2024 race and bid exclusively for the 2028 games. Having hosted the 1932 Summer Olympics and the 1984 Summer Olympics, Los Angeles will be the third city after London (1908, 1948 and 2012) and Paris (1900, 1924 and 2024) to host the Olympic Games three times.
