Quantity A:

A and B can complete the work in = 3/8 days

B and C can complete the work in = 1/3 days

A and C can complete the work in = 5/24 days

(1/A) + (1/B) = 3/8

(1/B) + (1/C) = 1/3

(1/A) + (1/C) = 5/24

Solving above equation,

(1/C) – (1/A) = 1/3 – 3/8

(1/C) – (1/A) = (-1/24)

(1/A) + (1/C) = 5/24

Solving equation,

2(1/C) = 4/24

(1/C) = 1/12

C alone can complete the work in 12 days.

Quantity B: 15

Quantity A < Quantity B
