Let a be the side of cube.

Total surface area of a cube = 6a2

Volume of a cube = a3

Given,

Total surface area of a cube = 1734cm2

⇒ 1734 = 6a2

⇒ a2 = 1734/6

⇒ a2 = 289

⇒ a = √289 = 17

Volume of a cube = a3

Volume of a cube = 173

Volume of a cube = 4913

∴ volume of a cube is 4913cm3.
