To repudiate is to refuse to accept; reject.$

To accord is to agree to something. To conserve is to save something. To avow is to decide something. 

Out of the given options, only 'abandon' can give a similar meaning to the suggested word.

e.g. The police officer repudiated all claims of corruption made against him.

Therefore, the correct answer is option 3.
