In this sentence we are talking about not only any single woman but all the women around the world. So the reflexive pronoun used for the word, ‘women’ will be plural too, i.e. ‘themselves’. So the correct sentence will be ‘Self-defense and self-protection are an important priority for women as some women find themselves at a greater risk for becoming the victim of either serious assault or murder.

thus ,option 2 is the answer
