Let the no. of packets of biscuits be x and weight of packets of biscuits be y kg.

As the no. of packet increases, weight also increases

it is directly proportional

⇒ if x = 45; y = 21

⇒ x/y = 45/21 = 15/7

Now, x = 30

⇒ 30/y = 15/7

⇒ Y = 14 kg

∴ The weight of 30 such biscuit packets is Rs. 14 kg
