Correct option- 4

Here, concept of adjectives is brought under consideration. Verb gifting which is used before a noun speaker is incorrect. Because, the sentence is in passive voice. And, it is formed as-

object + verb 3rd form + by + subject.

Hence, it can not take another verb in the sentence. 

So, replace gifting with adjective gifted.

Correct answer- A large number of people had come to attend the seminar to be addressed by the gifted speaker.
