Improve the bracketed part of the sentence.

The sentence suggests that home-related is the word that has to be improved. 'Housing' or 'home-making' do not reflect the same meaning as 'related to home'. Homey is more of a colloquial word and does not improve the sentence. Only 'domestic' improves the sentence. Hence, the correct answer is option 3.
