Given, selling price (SP) of 9 articles is equal to the cost price (CP) of 15 articles

9 × SP = 15 × CP

∴ SP = 5CP/3

∴ % profit $(= \;\frac{{\frac{{5CP}}{3} - CP}}{{CP}} \times 100\% \; = \;\frac{{200}}{3}\% \; = \;66\frac{2}{3}\% )$
