What is the median of the following list of numbers: 5, 3, 6, 9, 11, 19, and 1?

When we put those numbers in order,

Numbers are = 1, 3, 5, 6 , 9, 11, 19

n = 7 (odd)

∴ Median = (n + 1)/2 th term = 4th term = 6
