Affable -friendly, good-natured, or easy to talk to; cordial.

Churlish - rude in a mean-spirited and surly way. 

Genteel - $characterized by exaggerated or affected politeness, refinement, or respectability.

Clearly, option 2 i.e. churlish gives the best substitute for given sentence.
