Ratio of decrease of employees = 9 : 8

Ratio of increase of wages = 14 : 15

∴ Ratio of increase in the wage bill = ( 9 x 14) : (8 x 15 ) = 126 : 120 = 21 : 20

Now, if the previous wage bill is Rs 21

Then difference of two wage bills = 21 – 20 = Rs. 1

∴ If previous wage bill is Rs 1890

∴ Difference in bills = (1/21) x 1890 = Rs 90
