Here the pattern is as follows:

1) (8, 24, 16) = (8 × 1, 8 × 3, 8 × 2)

2) (3, 9, 6) = (3 × 1, 3 × 3, 3 × 2)

3) (14, 42, 28) = (14 × 1, 14 × 3, 14 × 2)

4) (9, 36, 18) = (9 × 1, 9 × 4, 9 × 2)

Hence, (9, 36, 18) is odd one from all other given option.
