The following sentences form a paragraph. The 1st and 4th sentence is given. The rest of the sentences are numbered as P, Q, R, S and T. These five parts are not given in their proper order. Read the sentences and choose the alternative that arranges them in correct order.

1. Ethnocentrism is a belief that our own culture or ethnic group is superior to others.

Reading the given sentences, we know the topic here- that is, ethnocentrism. Sentence 1 is given to us and from it we know the 2nd$ sentence is Sentence Q because it tells about the person who gave the term. Then, Sentence T is the 3rd$ sentence because it further explains the reasons for the occurrence of the topic. We have sentence 4 already given to us and looking at it, we realize that Sentences S and Sentence P are the 5th$ and 6th$ sentences respectively. This is because we see, the reasons end with 4th$ sentences so the next explanation is about its pros and cons. And, we realize the order because of the word ‘while’ being used which makes it evident that it will come later. Finally, Sentence R is the last 7th$ sentence.  

So, the correct order of sentences is 1QT4SPR$.

Thus, option 3 is the correct answer.
