Given,

Fixed amount = 152 = Rs. 225

Let the variable amount be x

According to question,

225 + 54 x = 603

54 x = 603 – 225 = 378

x = 7

⇒ Variable charge is increased by Rs. 3

⇒ New variable charge = Rs. (7 + 3) = Rs. 10

∴ Charges for 105 km = 225 + (105 × 10) = 225 + 1050 = 1275
