Solution:

Given: Length, l = 56 m and 

Length, l = 4 × breadth

Breadth, b = 56/4 = 14m

It's given that,

Perimeter of square = Perimeter of rectangle

= 2(l + b)

= 2(56 + 14) = 2 × 70

= 140 m

Therefore perimeter of square = 4a = 140m

(where, 'a' is the side of the square)

So, a = 140/4

a = 35m

Area of the square = a² = 35×35

= 1225 m²

The correct option is 2). 1225
