Since the data has been ‘corrected’ by the CSO, thus ‘recalibrating’ is the correct word. Since the amendments are made to the data given ‘earlier’, ‘previously’ fills the second blank appropriately.

Recalibrate- make something right

Mortify- cause (someone) to feel very embarrassed or ashamed

Option 4 is the correct answer.
