No. of candies given to Rahul = 30% of 240 = 0.3 × 240 = 72

No. of candies remained with Rahul = (100 – 25)% of 72 = 0.75 × 72 = 54

Required percentage = (54/240) × 100 = 22.5%

∴ 22.5% of the total candies remained with Rahul
