  • As per the Constitution of India, the President of India is authorized to transfer the Judge of the High Court to another High Court.
  • As per Amendment of Article 222, the President of India perhaps, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, transfer a Judge from one High Court to any other High Court.
  •  When a Judge has been transferred, he would, during his duty, after the conception of the Constitution Fifteenth Amendment Act, 1963, as a Judge of the other High Court, be entitled to receive in addition to his salary.
  • This reimbursing allowance may be determined by Parliament by law and fixed by the President of India.
