As per the Constitution of India, the President of India is authorized to transfer the Judge of the High Court to another High Court.
As per Amendment of Article 222, the President of India perhaps, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, transfer a Judge from one High Court to any other High Court.
When a Judge has been transferred, he would, during his duty, after the conception of the Constitution Fifteenth Amendment Act, 1963, as a Judge of the other High Court, be entitled to receive in addition to his salary.
This reimbursing allowance may be determined by Parliament by law and fixed by the President of India.
