  • The dead cells found in phloem are phloem fibres.
  • Pholem is made up of five cells namely sieve cells, sieve tubes, companion cells, phloem fibres and phloem parenchyma.
  • Phloem transports food from leaves to the other parts of the plants.
  • Except for phloem fibres, other phloem cells are living cells.
