A pipe can fill the tank in = 120 hours

∴ In 1 hour pipe can fill = 1/120

Tank is actually filled in = 150 hours

∴ In 1 hour tank actually fills = 1/150

∴ In 1 hour the leak empties,

$( \Rightarrow \frac{1}{{120}} - \frac{1}{{150}})$

$( \Rightarrow \frac{{5 - 4}}{{600}})$

⇒ 1/600

∴ The leak can empty the whole tank in = 600 hours
