Plaintive: sounding sad and mournful. condoling: express sympathy for (someone); grieve with.

Sweet: having the pleasant taste characteristic of sugar or honey; not salt, sour, or bitter roseate: rose-coloured.

Proposition: a statement or assertion that expresses a judgement or opinion. overconfident:excessively confident.
