The correct answer is option 2, i.e. Both A and B.

In the sentence, the word ‘taken’ is grammatically incorrect and should be corrected. Both options A and B match well when fitted in the sentence. In option C, ‘to taken a place’ is again grammatically incorrect and hence, the option can be easily eliminated.

Hence, the sentence can be correctly written as-

Punjab Police has arrested four ISI-trained militants for allegedly planning to raise the Khalistan issue during IPL matches scheduled to take place in Mohali.

Punjab Police has arrested four ISI-trained militants for allegedly planning to raise the Khalistan issue during IPL matches likely to take place in Mohali.
