We need to find by how many meters does kiran beat Rahul in the same race.

"satish beats kiran by 270 meters" means:

$Satish = Kiran + 270$ ...(i)

"satish beats rahul by 340 meters." means

$Satish = Rahul + 340$ ...(ii)

Using equations (i) and (ii) we get:

$Kiran + 270 = Rahul + 340$

$Kiran = Rahul + 340 -270$

$Kiran = Rahul + 70$

Which means Kiran beats Rahul by 70 meters at the same time of race.

Hence final answer is 70 meters.
