Correct option - 2

Broke up - to come or smash to pieces; used for a meeting, school term etc. that comes to an end; also used for end of a informal relationship.

For e.g.:- The meeting broke up at 6 p.m.

Broke out - to begin suddenly

For e.g. :- Dengue has broken out in the city.

Broke off - to separate; to end; stop suddenly especially used for formal relationship.

For e.g. :- He broke off the deal with his investors.

Broke in on - to interrupt, burst suddenly into.

For e.g. :- I was talking to James and suddenly his brother broke in on our conversation.

So, clearly, option 2 i.e. only B is the correct answer.

Correct sentence - They broke off their partnership as they found each other guilty of breach of promise.
