The first sentence in a paragraph always introduces a new topic and must be a sentence with independent meaning.

Here, both S and T introduce the artist; but S introduces the artist while T also gives more information; so, S must be the first, which is followed by T, the second sentence.

So, ST is the correct order.

Out of the given options, only option 3 reflects this order.

Therefore, the correct answer is option 3.
