Directions: Chetna, Mariya and Tusita participated in a race and one of them won the race. They belong to three different communities - Tamilian, Kannadiga and Gujrati. Tamilians always speak the truth, Kannadigas always lie, and Gujratis tell the truth and lie alternatively. (Each of them, Chetna, Mariya and Tusita, belongs to one community.)

After the race they gave these statements.

Chetna:

1. I would have won the race if Tusita had not obstructed me at the last moment.

2. Tusita always speaks the truth.

3. Tusita is the winner.

Mariya:

1. Chetna won the race.

2. Tusita is not a Kannadiga.

Tusita:

1. I hadn’t obstructed Chetna at the last moment.

2. Mariya won the race.

Tusita belongs to which community?

Assume Mariya is truth teller so she is a Tamilian. Then Chetna is the winner and Tusita is Gujrati (Alternator) which implies Chetna is a false sayer (Kannadiga)

If we check the truthfulness of the Chetna, We get his all statements are wrong and Tusita’s one statement is wrong.

So Tusita belongs to Gujrati and Chetna won the race
