This speaks about the ‘evil eye’ superstition prevalent in India,

and ‘Q’ clearly continues with what it is called regionally, where ‘1’ leaves off about this practice telling us about the action done.

 ’S’ should follow logically as it starts to give us the reason why this is done which is completed in the next line to follow, that is ‘P’.

The next line that should continue is obviously ‘R’ as it explains why this practice is followed and ‘6’ concludes it by saying in doing so ‘the kid will stay protected.’ So, option 2 is the right answer.
