In the following question, 2 columns are given containing three phrases/ sentences each. In the first column sentences A, B, C and in the second column D, E, F are given. A sentence from the first column may or may not connect with another sentence/phrase from the second column to make a grammatically and contextually correct sentence. The question has five options, four of which display the sequences of the sentences. If none of the above is the answer, then mark option (e) as the answer.

The correct answer is 2.

Sentence A, when joined with D, gives the meaning that the government must protect the rights of the people.

Sentence B, when joined with F, gives the meaning that the children are having summer holidays.
