Eight person P, Q, R, S, U, W, X and V lives in a building with seven floors besides the ground floor. The ground floor is numbered 1 and the first floor is numbered 2 till the seventh floor is numbered 8. These floors are decorated with different types of flowers – Cherry blossoms, Orchid, Daisy, Jasmine, Rose, Lavender and Tulip but not necessarily in the same order.

There is one floor between the floors which are decorated with Lily and Daisy. Floor number 8 is not decorated with Tulip or Jasmine flowers. R lives on the floor which is numbered with a number which is a perfect cube. P lives on a floor that is numbered with a number which is a perfect square and has decorated the floor with Cherry Blossom flowers. Q who has decorated the floor with Orchid flowers lives on an even numbered floor.

The floor number of the floor on which U lives is half the floor number of S. W who lives on the floor which is just above the floor decorated with Lavender does not like Jasmine. The ground floor is decorated with flowers of Lily. As many people live above the floor decorated with Daisy flowers as many live below the floor decorated with flowers of Lavender. R does not like Lily.
