The pattern of the given problem is:

First term, 48 = 2 × 4 × 6

Second term, 192 = 4 × 6 × 8

Third term, 480 = 6 × 8 × 10

Fourth term, 960 = 8 × 10 × 12

∴ Fifth term = 10 × 12 × 14 = 1680
