In a courier company, eight boxes numbered 1 to 8 are placed one over one in sequence from bottom to top. They are posted to various places in the city i.e. Naroda, Vatsral, Kalupur, Madinagar, Narol, Sola and Odhav. Two of the couriers are posted to the same place.

Neither box no 2 nor 4 is posted to Vatsral. The box placed at the top most position is posted either to Kalupur or Sola. None of the boxes placed over box no. 5 is posted to Narol. The box which is posted to Maninagar is either box no. 5 or 1. The box which is posted to Kalupur is kept on an even number position. The box posted to Odhav is at the third position from the top. Box no. 2 is not posted to Kalupur. Box no. 1 and 2 both are posted to the same place. The box which is posted to Sola is placed at any position over the box which is posted to Kalupur. Boxes which are posted to Narol and Vastral are at successive positions.
