Let the Total Amount be x.

Then According to the question,

x/3 + x/9 + 5000 = x

(3x + x + 45000)/9 = x

4x + 45000 = 9x

5x = 45000

x = 9000

Since A gets 1/3rd, ∴ A’s Share = 9000/3 = Rs. 3000
