The average of 12 numbers is 35. If four numbers 20, 27, 15 and 29 are removed, then what will be the average of the remaining numbers?

The average of 12 numbers is 35. If four numbers 20, 27, 15 and 29 are removed, then what will be the average of the remaining numbers?
1). 41.125
2). 49.5
3). 52.5
4). 38.375

Sum of 12 numbers = 12 × 35 = 420

Remaining average = [420 - (20 + 27 + 15 + 29)]/8 = 41.125

∴ Average of the remaining 8 numbers is 41.125
