  • In physics, the weight of an object is defined as the force of gravity on the object and may be calculated as the mass times the acceleration of gravity, w = mg.
  • The weight of an object is maximum at poles as the gravity is slightly higher at the poles and hence the weight there is more as compared to anywhere else.
