 A alone can complete a piece of work in 6 days and B alone can complete it in 12 days. In how many days can A and B together complete the same piece of work ?

A's one day's work = 1/6
B's day's work = 1/12
(A+B)'s one day's work = 1/6 + 1/12 = 3/12 = 1/4
So, A and B will complete the work together in 4 days
