a do work in 15 days (1/60)*15 = 1/4  

1/4 work done by A

ramaining work 1-1/4 = 3/4

now if B do work in 30 days then

(4/3)*30 = 40days

B complete work in 40 days

then 

(1/60 + 1/40)

24 days
