Difference of correct marks and incorrect marks is 64 - 46 = 18 It means 18 marks was not included in finding average So we divide 18 among 36 I.e 18 / 36 = 0.5 52 + 0.5 = 52.5

Total average 36*52=1872

Total mark with correct item 1872-46+64=1890

Average = 1890/36= 52.5
