C.P. of article
$=\frac{100}{100-20}\times 450$
$=\frac{100\times 450}{80}= 562.5 Rs.$
$\therefore$ To gain 20 %
$S.P.=\frac{562.5\times 120}{100}=675 Rs.$

Let CP= X
SP= ₹450 (Given)
According to Question , agar hum article Ko 450 per bech re h to 20% ka nuksaan hora hai. Iska mtlb h CP > SP
Therefore, X - 20% of X = 450
X - 20X/100 = 450
80X/100 = 450
X= 45000/80
X= 562.5
I.e. CP= ₹562.5
Now according to Question for what price should we sell it to gain 20%. .
Or 20% ki fraction value Hoti hai 1/5
Therefore , 20% of 562.5 + 562.5
562.5/5 + 562.5
112.5 + 562.5
=> ₹675
